Michael Morton is an art director and illustrator based in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. With a Diploma in Illustration from Sheridan College and over more than a decade in the design industry, he has contributed to award-winning campaigns for the CBC, Leo Burnett, and Taxi. Alongside his commercial work, Michael is also an accomplished commissioned portrait artist working in pencil, watercolour and mixed media.
His passion for art lies in comic books. He’s illustrated Blvd of the Eagles, a graphic novel based on the life of pro skater Mike Vallely, and he’s also the creator of Seeing Things, his own horror/mystery graphic novel that blends storytelling and atmosphere into a uniquely unsettling vision. He is currently expanding that world through an upcoming anthology - Fragments of Fear - and a six issue follow-up now in development.
